Elon Musk’s Tesla is finally making its long-awaited entry into the Indian market, with plans to open its first showrooms by July 2025. As per the report Tesla will introduce its electric vehicle in India. At initial level Tesla will import EVs cars for China and the price will be $56,000 in Indian currency it will be ₹46.8 lakh.

This move can be a big milestone for EV sector for rapid growth. Tesla has promises to expand his global foot print.

Tesla has decided first it will open its showroom in metro city like Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai. In this showroom customer can explore the EV technology and experience about Tesla EV car.

In India there is high import duties so Tesla has decided at initial level it import Tesla car form China. So, the starting price will be around $56,000. And that’s make it premium price for India market at initial level.

3. Long-Term Plans: Local Manufacturing

At initial level Tesla will import car form China, but at same time Tesla has started discussions with Indian government to setup local manufacturing plant in India. So, in future Tesla car costs will reduce and that’s make more affordable to the Indian consumer.
